When I woke up this morning, I expected carnage. The roads were pretty terrible. However, my drive in to the office, slow and steady, was remarkably idiot-free.
Not everybody was so lucky though — I was listening to the Dean Blundell Show this morning on the commute, where the highlight/lowlight was “Tardwatch 2007”. Some of the gems included:
- a genius stopped in the middle of Hwy 401 cleaning off his rear window
- another brainchild re-wrapping his turban while driving
- a crackerjack truckdriver blowing through a red light on Yonge Street with a load of pre-fab concrete.
- the guy on the Gardiner crawling along at 5 km/hr with head in hands, dead asleep.
Wow.
